Michaël Cuisance has returned to France with RC Lens, who face PSG in the Trophée des Champions this Sunday at 20:45.
According to L'Équipe, Lens went to Germany’s second tier to bring him back. He had caught the eye in the Bundesliga at 18 and was a European champion with Bayern at 21.
His career later drifted, though he says he has found himself as a man.
On 30 July at Monza’s training centre, an intense session in searing heat left many team-mates sprawling to cool down.
Cuisance still had the energy to debate with assistant Bilal Hamdi, believing a refereeing call in a small-sided game had been wrong.
