Michail Antonio, 35, could soon be making his return to English football. Following a severe car accident in 2025 that resulted in a broken femur and several weeks on the sidelines, the striker is considering reviving his career with Charlton Athletic, reports Sami Mokbel.

The player hasn't featured in an official match since August 2025, when he appeared for West Ham in Premier League 2. Since then, he has continued his rehabilitation and even trained with Leicester City in December, though no permanent deal was signed.

Charlton Athletic, currently sitting 18th in the Championship with 39 points, are in talks with Antonio to finalize his arrival. While negotiations are still in the early stages, both sides appear determined to reach an agreement.
