Milan are reportedly considering a move for Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder and member of the France Olympic football squad, Manu Koné, this summer.

Milan intereest in Koné

According to updates from transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the Rossoneri have ‘concrete’ interest in the 23-year-old, who has now completed three full seasons in the Bundesliga after switching over from Toulouse in 2021.

Kone is said to be a profile of player who is of particular interest to the Milan management team.

The Rossoneri have been trying to add another midfielder to their ranks this summer, but a move for Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana encountered difficulties over the course of the last week.

The club had been attempting to agree a fee in the region of €14m plus bonuses and add-ons, but interest from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid forced Monaco to up their asking price to above €30m.

Adrien Rabiot, who is currently available as a free agent, had also been mentioned as a possible option, but he is expected to command a hefty wage packet.
