Multiple sources in Italy claim that Milan have set their sights on Borussia Dortmund target Konstantinos Karetsas of Genk and could make an offer for Marseille midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Milan have already secured two summer signings, welcoming Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila, but their new coach Ruben Amorim needs more reinforcements to complete his team for 2026-27.
Genk’s Karetsas is emerging as a primary option for the attacking midfield role. Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto have reported that the Rossoneri are in talks with the player’s agents, but have yet to make an offer for the Belgian club.
Corriere dello Sport and Sky Sport DE add that Borussia Dortmund are also strongly interested in the Greece international.

According to the Italian newspaper, BVB have had an opening €25m bid rejected with Genk demanding at least €35m.
Other Milan targets for this summer include Marseille midfielder Hojbjerg, a former Tottenham player.
According to Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio, the Denmark international is on the market.

The report claims that Milan are in no hurry to make an offer to Marseille, as Amorim wants to carefully assess the players at his disposal before making any transfer decision.
