Milan will cut Fikayo Tomori from the squad for their friendly with Manchester United, with reports his wage demands are holding up potential moves to Benfica or the Premier League.

The defender is only under contract at San Siro until the end of the current campaign, and had been hoping to convince new coach Ruben Amorim to keep him on.

The Rossoneri had been holding out for €20m, but at this point might be prepared to cut their losses to get Tomori off the books once and for all.

Liverpool and Al-Hilal are among the clubs keeping an eye on the situation for the 28-year-old.
