Millwall beat Wrexham 2-0 to stay fifth in the Championship play-off places, an own goal from Max Cleworth and a late Josh Coburn finish settling a tight contest.
The breakthrough came in the 59th minute when Max Cleworth put through his own net.
Early on, Max Crocombe saved from Kieffer Moore and Issa Kabore as Wrexham started on the front foot.
After the restart Wrexham kept pressing, with Callum Doyle and Moore denied again, but the Lions held firm.
Alex Neil's changes paid off as substitute Josh Coburn doubled the advantage from the right side of the box (85.), turning in Femi Azeez's pass.
Wrexham introduced Josh Windass and Sam Smith to chase a response, yet clear chances went begging, with two Smith efforts off target in the closing stages.
Wrexham finished with 16 attempts and five on target, along with 54.4% possession. The Lions mustered seven attempts and one on target, making their moments count.
Next, Wrexham host Ipswich Town in the FA Cup. The Lions visit Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.
