Monaco ‘in talks’ over new deal for Mamadou Coulibaly

Monaco are negotiating a new deal with Mamadou Coulibaly, whose contract runs until June 2028.

According to Nice-Matin, talks with the 22-year-old midfielder are progressing and a resolution could be reached soon.

The academy graduate has just completed his first full season, making 36 appearances after a ruptured cruciate ligament in May 2024 slowed his progress.

He established himself in the first-team rotation, featured in the Champions League and earned his first caps for France Under-21s.

Monaco are reshaping their squad this summer, with departures and arrivals expected in similar numbers, while also moving on contract matters. After Samuel Nibombe signed through 2030, another homegrown player could follow.
