Monaco ‘to step up’ pursuit of Farès Ghedjemis | OneFootball

AS Monaco are stepping up their move for Frosinone winger Farès Ghedjemis, 23. L’Équipe reports that the Ligue 1 side have made him a priority target.

Their opening bid of €7m plus €2m in bonuses was rejected by the Italian club, and Monaco are planning a second offer in the coming days.

Celtic and Rangers have also shown interest, yet Frosinone did not respond to their proposals, which were around €10m. The player is believed to be keen on a move to Ligue 1.

Ghedjemis previously played for Vannes and FC Rouen before joining Frosinone three years ago, gradually becoming a key member of the Lazio squad.

He was voted Serie B Player of the Season last term after 15 goals and three assists in 37 league matches. Those displays convinced Vladimir Petković to take him to the United States to compete in the World Cup with the Fennecs.
