Monaco’s Safouane Benzahra ‘to sign’ first professional contract | OneFootball

According to L’Équipe, Safouane Benzahra, 18, is set to sign his first professional contract with AS Monaco, and Melvin Gomes is also expected to commit to his formative club despite strong interest from Chelsea.

The same outlet adds that 17-year-old attacker Nahek Haddani is set to follow, while Foot Mercato reports that Franco-Tunisian attacking midfielder Najd Ajroud will sign a three-year deal with AS Monaco.

Benzahra, a Morocco youth international, has already featured for the first team this season, playing in both of the club’s UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers and earning a handful of Ligue 1 minutes.

Ajroud, a left-footer, enjoyed a strong campaign with the U19s last season.

He has already caught the eye of Filipe Luís.
