It's hard to argue that Morgan Rogers didn't make the right decision this summer when he opted to join Chelsea over their capital and Premier League rival Arsenal.

His latest goal, a seventh-minute opener against promoted Hull City, sees the England international midfielder continue his blistering start to life at Stamford Bridge.

After Chelsea broke into the attacking third through compatriot Cole Palmer, the Blues maestro picked out João Pedro, who turned to supply Rogers before the former Aston Villa man drove into the box and rifled low past Konstantinos Tzolakis to beat the Greek international shot-stopper at his near post.

With that, Rogers bagged his third goal of the early 2026/27 season and has now been credited with a direct goal contribution in each of Chelsea's opening four Premier League fixtures.

More impressively, Rogers has hallowed halls at the Bridge, too, now sitting alongside Didier Drogba, Cesc FĆ bregas, Diego Costa, and Eden Hazard as just the fifth player to achieve that feat in that timeframe.

All told, Rogers has contributed a combined seven goals and assists in Chelsea's opening six fixtures in all competitions, already endearing himself to Blues supporters in all corners.

Though Arsenal already got the better of Chelsea in the league this season, Rogers surely won't mind if this run of form continues.
