The 23-year-old is set to attract plenty of interest this summer and there are suggestions Aston Villa could reluctantly sell the midfielder to ease their financial situation.

Rogers is in England's World Cup squad and has the chance to further enhance his reputation on football's biggest stage over the next six weeks.

Despite the speculation around his future, Rogers is adamant that will not be a distraction for him.

He told the Rest is Football podcast: "I think the first time it ever happened it was.

"You’re in an uncomfortable spot of not realising that people have so much interest in you and you’re not quite realising that.

"But as you get older and gain experience along the way, you know that comes with it and 95 per cent of it is just noise.

‘You hear it, course you do. You can’t help not [hearing it]. You know it’s there but you’ve got to use it in a positive way.

"You just try and get on with your game and just focus."

Thomas Tuchel has placed real trust in Rogers since he took charge, with the Aston Villa star featuring in 12 of England's 13 matches under the German.

Tuchel has also made it clear that Jude Bellingham is not guaranteed to start and faces a fight with Rogers to be England's first-choice No10.

However, asked about that battle with Bellingham, Rogers suggested it does not have to be a choice between them.

"I think we can definitely play together," he said.

"I’d love to play together. I want to play with England’s best players.

"He’s right at the front of that and someone that I’ve always wanted to play with from a very young age, and that’s no different now."
