Tarik Muharemović was voted Hisense Player of the Match by Leeds United supporters following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford at Elland Road.
The 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international produced an assured defensive display at the heart of the Leeds backline, playing the full 90 minutes as Daniel Farke’s side fought back from an early deficit to earn a point.
Muharemović, who joined the Whites from Sassuolo during the summer, was making his third appearance for the club and turned in a performance that underlined his growing influence.
He received 37% of the supporters’ vote, comfortably finishing ahead of goalkeeper James Trafford, who collected 13%.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, scorer of Leeds’ equaliser, was third with 9%, followed by Ao Tanaka on 7% and Lukas Nmecha on 6%.

Muharemović recorded 19 defensive contributions, the highest total of any player on the pitch, as Leeds were repeatedly called upon to deal with Brentford’s attacking threat.
His numbers tell the story of a busy afternoon.
The centre-back made 11 clearances, four blocks and two tackles, while also recording two interceptions and three recoveries. He won eight duels and was consistently prominent in helping Leeds protect their penalty area.
In possession, he registered 79 touches and 43 successful passes, including eight line-breaking passes as Leeds looked to progress the ball from the back.
His physical output was equally impressive. Muharemović covered 10km, made 13 sprints and reached a top speed of 31.1km/h across the contest.
