Nottingham Forest are hopeful centre-back Murillo could be fit for Wednesday’s meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the City Ground after a late withdrawal at Leeds.
According to Nottingham Post, the Brazilian sustained a calf problem in training on Thursday and sat out the 3-1 defeat at Elland Road.
Sean Dyche said they would wait and see, adding there is a chance for Wednesday and the issue is not thought to be serious. He accepted the late change was far from ideal, with decisions made at the last minute.
Murillo’s absence prompted a reshuffle, with Morato partnering Nikola Milenkovic, Zach Abbott at right-back and Ola Aina switching to the left as Neco Williams was suspended.
The sides were level on points before kick-off and a win would have taken either nine clear of the bottom three. Leeds seized the opportunity, leaving Forest to prepare for another key test against relegation rivals Wolves.
Dyche noted Forest were two points in the relegation zone when he arrived and are now six points out. He said he did not get carried away after 3-0 wins over Liverpool and Tottenham, despite praise for those displays.
He stressed the work continues and that judgment comes at the end of the season, not on individual results.
