Musiala lauds Bayern’s step forward as Stuttgart pair reset season aims | OneFootball

Bayern Munich clinched their 35th Bundesliga title with victory over Stuttgart, as Jamal Musiala framed it as a significant step in the team’s development and the opposition quickly refocused on the run-in.

According to BuLi News, Stuttgart started well and created chances, but then conceded three in 10 minutes.

Musiala said he thought it was a big moment for the squad, adding that before the season they had targeted a mental step forward and he feels they have shown that this year.

He said his half-time withdrawal was planned as part of workload management, noting that this is a phase when players also have to manage themselves. He was content with his display, though he felt he should have scored.

Stuttgart captain Atakan Karazor underlined the objectives for the weeks ahead, saying they want to reach the Champions League places and make the DFB-Pokal final. Chris Führich urged a quick reset, saying they would shake this game off and concentrate on the remaining goals.
