Joost Blaauwhof of VI is reporting that NAC Breda captain Boy Kemper will leave the club on a free transfer this summer. The former ADO Den Haag defender joined the side back in 2023 but will not be staying longer. With the side in danger of being relegated, the decision has certainly seen some fans hit out in terms of the timing of the news. With his former side ADO Den Haag set for a return to the Eredivisie, there will certainly be some speculation as to whether or not he might make a return there this summer.

Kemper is a former Dutch youth international who came through the Ajax academy before joining ADO Den Haag in 2020. He made 41 appearances for Jong Ajax but no senior appearances. Over the course of three seasons with Den Haag Kemper played 95 games, scoring four goals. The defender has since made 83 appearances for NAC Breda, scoring eight goals. He was part of the side that won promotion to the Eredivisie during his first season with the club. Kemper also helped keep the side in the Eredivisie last season, but now the captain look set for a new adventure regardless of whether NAC Breda remain in the top flight or are relegated.
