Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is anticipating a tough encounter in their top-of-the-table affair against Sekhukhune United on Tuesday.

Heading into the much-awaited clash at the FNB Stadium, the Soweto giants are level on 13 points with second-placed Babina Noko on the log standings.

Interestingly, the two teams are unbeaten in their first five Betway Premiership outings of the 2025/26 season, along with log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

With the match on the horizon, the Tunisian mentor acknowledges that claiming maximum points over in-form Sekhukhune won’t be a walk in the park.

“Obviously if you look at the log standings right now, it’s going to be a very tough game against a very tough opponent. They have shown that they have players with experience and a coach that is competent and has experience too,” said Nabi.

While Nabi is under no illusions with the quality their opponents possess, he says his charges are raring to go as they aim to maintain their impressive start to the campaign.

“But we have felt a strong will from our players to get a positive result throughout our preparations. It’s not going to be easy either for us or for them, it’s a game that’s going to be played on details and the concertation during the whole game will be a must,” he added.

“We have to try to capitalize on the opportunities that we will create, try to be concentrated and well organized when we are out of position.
