Sevilla are monitoring free agent Bamba Dieng as an immediate replacement for Akor Adams, whose move to Venezia is imminent.
According to TeamTalk, Hull City and Wrexham have recently entered a crowded chase. The field already included Al-Shabab, Amedspor of Türkiye and Nice. In Spain, Valencia and Real Betis have long tracked him.
Sevilla could have found an ideal Ligue 1 replacement, as Adams is Nigerian and Dieng Senegalese, and both hit 10 league goals. He would arrive on a free, like Jon Guridi, Juan Iglesias and Arouna Sangante.
Dieng came through Diambars in Senegal, joined Olympique de Marseille in 2020, then moved to Lorient in early 2023. He also spent time on loan at Angers SCO. He returned to Lorient for 2025-2026, finished strongly, then became a free agent.
A regular for Senegal, he is a dynamic centre forward noted for explosiveness, top-end pace and aggressive runs in behind. His movement drifts left and he can operate wide or as a second striker. He offers sharp finishing, power in transition and intense high pressing.
A LaLiga switch looks the most likely next step, though staying in France is not ruled out. Sevilla’s search for a new striker is entering a decisive phase.
