Álvaro Negredo, the former Sevilla striker now assisting Diego Galiano with Sevilla Atlético, is building his coaching career and has made clear he would like an eventual shot at the first team.

"I do not know where I will end up. Of course I would love to coach Sevilla, and those other teams as well, and I would also love to try my luck as a coach abroad. I am not closing any door, as a player I had no problem moving abroad, and as a coach I do not either," he told Flashscore.

He is part of Sevilla Atlético’s staff after spending last season within the club’s División de Honor set-up. This summer he stepped up to the first reserve side to continue his development on the bench.
