The managerial merry-go-round is in full swing in Serie A, and amidst the reports that Atalanta are trying to snatch Maurizio Sarri away from Lazio and Napoli, a new scenario is emerging that could see the Biancocelesti head coach ‘swap’ jobs with Raffaele Palladino.
Sarri is currently under contract with Lazio, but is among the coaches identified by Napoli as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte, who will leave the Partenopei after the 2025-26 comes to an end.

Despite his previous connections to Napoli, recent reports indicate that Sarri is more tempted by an offer from Atalanta, where he would work alongside his former Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli. La Dea are said to be ‘pushing’ to beat Napoli to the coach’s signature.
Lazio are left looking at potential replacements for Sarri, and now, reports from the Corriere dello Sport suggest that there could be a potential ‘swap’ involving Atalanta’s Palladino on the cards. Palladino is among the lengthy list of Serie A coaches expected to leave their current roles at the end of the season.

Lazio have reportedly been exploring options surrounding former Bologna and Juventus head coach Thiago Motta, but Friday’s report indicates that Motta is more likely to start again with a new job abroad rather than in Serie A.
On the other hand, Palladino and Cagliari’s Fabio Pisacane are among the options that Lazio seem to like best.
