Newcastle United have reached an agreement to sign Belgian international forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo from LOSC Lille, according to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.

The Magpies will pay a guaranteed €60 million plus add-ons to the Ligue 1 club after making a breakthrough in negotiations.

Fernandez-Pardo has agreed personal terms and given the green light to the move. With paperwork finalised between the clubs, the 21-year-old is set to fly to England today for a medical and to sign his contract at St James’ Park.
