Newcastle United are one of the clubs keen on signing New York Red Bulls forward Julian Hall, according to Ben Jacobs. Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle wants quality signings at the St James’ Park club, and the 18-year-old has emerged as a target. However, the Magpies will face competition from the likes of RB Leipzig, Atletico Madrid and Hull City for the services of the teenage sensation. Hall has nine goals and four assists in his last 19 starts for the Major League Soccer club and Newcastle admire his huge potential.

The Toons target made history after becoming the second-youngest player to make his MLS debut aged 15 years and 190 days in June 2024. Hall became the youngest player to score an MLS hat-trick in May and plenty of European clubs are hoping to lure him away from North America. A move to the Premier League could appeal to the American, who was named in the MLS All-Star last month, and Newcastle will hope to pip fierce competition to his services.
