Neymar and Robinho Jr named as Santos take 24 to Recoleta | OneFootball

Santos have named a 24-man squad for Tuesday’s Copa Sudamericana meeting with Recoleta, set for 21:30 Brasília time at the Monumental Río Parapití in Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay.

According to Globo.com, Neymar and Robinho Jr, who clashed during Sunday’s training session, will travel with the squad.

Head coach Cuca recalls Neymar after he was rested for the draw with Palmeiras in the Brasileirão, although he has selection issues at full-back.

Only Igor Vinícius and Escobar are available in the wide defensive roles. Vinícius Lira has suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and is out for the season, while Mayke and Rafael Gonzaga are not included.

Santos sit bottom of Group D with two points from three rounds and need a positive result to sustain their push to top the group, which brings direct passage to the next stage.
