Neymar included as Santos name 24-man squad to face Recoleta | OneFootball

Neymar has been named in Santos' 24-man squad for Tuesday's Copa Sudamericana fourth-round meeting with Recoleta, Diario Do Peixe reports. Only 23 can be registered on matchday, so one player will be omitted.

The forward sat out the derby with Palmeiras. Midfielder Thaciano is also listed after recovering from a left-thigh muscle oedema.

The group comprises three goalkeepers, four centre-backs, two full-backs, seven midfielders and eight forwards.

The report lists absentees Gabriel Menino, Gustavo Henrique and Lautaro Díaz with muscle problems, and also names Thaciano among the absentees with a left adductor oedema.

Squad includes goalkeepers Diógenes, João Pedro and Brazão, plus defenders Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Ananias and Adonis Frías, and full-backs Igor Vinícius and Escobar.

Midfielders are João Schmidt, Zé Rafael, Willian Arão, Christian Oliva, Miguelito, Rollheiser and Gabriel Bontempo, with forwards Neymar, Robinho Jr, Gabigol, Rony, Thaciano, Moisés, Barreal and Mateus Xavier.
