Nico Williams has begun treatment in Pamplona with external specialist Jurdan Mendigutxia as he battles persistent pubalgia, and there is no set return date.

As reported by as.com, the international winger has started consultations with Mendigutxia after the club weighed options short of surgery, the doctor having previously treated Prados and Sancet.

There was a positive update on Jauregizar, whose morning assessment showed no severe ligament or meniscal damage. He was hurt in a duel, still scored the equaliser against Oviedo, then came off.

Before facing Oviedo, Ernesto Valverde said the player has ongoing problems, is not fully fit, and that they cannot continue in this state.

While his progress is monitored, the No. 10 will miss upcoming squads. It is difficult to see him being cleared for the Copa semi-final second leg at Anoeta against Real Sociedad on four March. The World Cup is also in play.
