Some sportspeople are simply synonymous with a particular number.
Think Michael Jordan and 23, Cristiano Ronaldo and 7 or Wayne Gretzky and 99.Â
In women's football, the number 11 belongs to Barcelona and Spain legend Alexia Putellas, with the inspiring forward starring for over a decade with that particular number on her back.

And now the three-time Champions League winner has teamed up with Nike to unveil a brand new, signature logo putting her alongside the likes of Kylian MbappĂŠ and Erling Haaland.
âWhen I started watching Barça, I remember 11 was Rivaldo, a lefty. I fell in love with that number," she said.
"Everyone wants #10, but 11 is special. When someone watches eleven, I want them to think of Alexia.â
The World Cup champion's new Nike signature logo is a monogram that intertwines her initials and her jersey number to form the shape of a crown, a direct nod to her widely used nickname, 'La Reina'.

The logo was created as part of her status as a Nike signature athlete, a move that highlights her position as a global icon in women's football and a two-time Ballon d'Or winner and UEFA Player of the Year awards.
