Leeds United are preparing to sell players this summer, with several familiar names under consideration. The core is to be kept, though Joel Piroe is clearly not among them.

According to Leeds Live, last summer brought few departures and chairman Paraag Marathe has warned supporters to expect exits amid tighter finances.

Wilfried Gnonto made only three Premier League starts and, with Daniel Farke favouring wing-backs, Freiburg have enquired about the Italian, who is contracted until 2028.

Piroe is seen as the likeliest senior departure after just two league starts, none after August, and a run of late cameos.

Leeds want Pascal Struijk to sign new terms, yet if talks stall a sale could follow given prior interest and the risk of a free next summer.

Brenden Aaronson also has one year left. Without a renewal he can talk to overseas clubs from January and could go for free in 2027.

Joe Gelhardt scored 15 for promoted Hull City and wants a permanent move. Largie Ramazani slipped down the pecking order and may be moved on.

Jack Harrison is still expected to depart despite Fiorentina not triggering his £6m clause, while injury-hit Max Wober, with only 12 games in two years, is for sale though £2.4m may be a ceiling.

Isaac Schmidt could suit wing-back duties, but a flat Werder Bremen loan and limited Championship trust suggest a back-up left-back arrival would likely end his stay.
