Nkunku latest Milan idea for attack from Chelsea | OneFootball

Milan continue their search for strikers and the latest candidate is Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea, claims Fabrizio Romano.

It has been a frustrating summer for the Rossoneri, who have seemed to be on the verge of agreements only for them to fall apart at the final hurdle.

Victor Boniface was the ultimate example, as the transfer from Bayer Leverkusen was abandoned after his medical tests, while Conrad Harder of Sporting CP had looked like a done deal until it suddenly hit a brick wall this afternoon.

Nkunku another option for Milan

Now transfer pundit Romano claims that Milan have turned towards Chelsea to ask after Nkunku.

The 27-year-old is not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at Stamford Bridge and is eager to move on, despite the €60m transfer from RB Leipzig only two years ago.

He had also been linked with Inter and Aston Villa, but Milan would be an intriguing alternative on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

The France international is under contract with Chelsea until June 2029, so this format is possible.
