First up we kick off our campaign with a tricky away tie to face Red Star in Serbia on Wednesday 24 September, before facing FC Braga at home the following Thursday. Both these games are clearly in the winnable category so early momentum can set Celtic up nicely for subsequent matches.
Crvena Zvezda (A) 24 September 2025 (KO: 8pm) Braga (H), 2 October 2025(KO: 5.45pm) Sturm Graz (H), 23 October 2025 (KO: 8pm) FC Midtylland (A), 6 November 2025 (KO: 5.45pm) Feyenoord (A), 27 November 2025 (KO: 5.45pm) Roma (H), 11 December 2025 (KO: 8pm) Bologna (A), 22 January 2026 (KO: 5.45pm) Utrecht (H), 29 January 2026 (KO: 8pm)
Another home tie beckons on Thursday 23 October as we host Austrian side Strum Graz, before we head to Denmark to face FC Midtjlland on 6 November, and then it’s off to Rotterdam to face Feyenoord on Thursday 27 November, with the most eagerly awaited tie at Celtic Park against Roma a fortnight later on 11 December.
After the New Year we will conclude our fixtures with an away trip to Bologna on the 22 January, before ending our campaign at home to Utrecht a week later.
It will be a difficult start, but with a couple of winnable home games in succession, as well as ending our run of fixtures with a decent home fixture, we have a great chance to qualify automatically. That should be the goal.
Here’s how the official Celtic FC website described the latest news on the Europa League fixtures, dates and opponents…
Celtic will kick off their UEFA Europa League campaign with a trip to Belgrade to take on Crvena Zvezda on Wednesday, 24 September. The only other competitive meeting between the sides was back in the 1968/69 season.
The first home game for the Hoops will be on 2 October when they play host to Braga followed by another home game later that month against Sturm Graz (23 October).
Celtic have two away games in November – against FC Midtylland in Denmark ( 6 November) and Feyenoord in the De Kuip stadium on 27 November.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will play host to Serie A side, Roma on 11 December, while the Hoops will head to Italy on 22 January, 2026 to play Bologna, before completing their league phase campaign with a home match against Utrecht on 29 January.
For those prepared to dream the Europa League final is in Istanbul this season…
