With unwavering confidence, Bafana Bafana icon Doctor "16V" Khumalo has declared the national team unstoppable for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. As South Africa prepares to compete in Group B against Egypt, Angola, and Zimbabwe, starting their campaign against Angola on December 22, Khumalo's belief is resolute.

Reflecting on the team's potential, the 1996 Afcon champion stated, "I wouldn't say there’s a country I think can stop Bafana. These boys just destroy everyone in front of them; they don’t care whether you play in Europe or not." He shared these sentiments during the team's sponsor-organized farewell event at FNB Stadium.

Khumalo also praised coach Hugo Broos for his forward-thinking squad selection, particularly the inclusion of young talents Shandre Campbell and Tylon Smith. "I’d also like to credit the coach for selecting these two youngsters. This was lacking before. We used to focus on that particular present moment without planning for the future, and Hugo is now making sure we don’t repeat that mistake," he emphasized.

Campbell, 20, will join the squad following his club duties in Belgium, while Smith, also 20, is already in camp. Smith enters the senior setup on a high note, having been named Player of the Tournament after leading Amajita to victory in the Under-20 Afcon in Egypt last May.
