Noroeste have signed goalkeeper Diogo Silva, formerly of Vasco and most recently at Ponte Preta. He will play in this year's Copa Paulista.
According to Globo.com, the 40-year-old left Ponte Preta in June after filing legal action alleging delayed wages. He had spent the past two seasons with the club.
He made 61 appearances for the Campinas side and scored once, converting a penalty against CSA in last year's Série C.
A Vitória youth product, Diogo Silva rose to national prominence with Vasco between 2011 and 2015. He later turned out for Luverdense, Ceará, CRB and Paysandu before joining Ponte Preta.
Noroeste have one draw and one defeat from two matches so far in the competition. They visit XV de Piracicaba at 18:00 on Saturday in the third round, when he could make his debut.
