West Bromwich Albion target Felix Horn Myhre has joked about warmer weather as speculation over his future continues. According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion are exploring a deal for the SK Brann midfielder as James Morrison seeks midfield reinforcements.
The 27-year-old Norway international is also on Elche’s radar in La Liga. Asked where he would prefer to play next season, between Elche and West Brom, he said: “I honestly don’t know. The temperature in Spain is tempting after a summer like this.”
Myhre has seven caps for Norway and is viewed as one of the Eliteserien’s standout midfielders. He primarily operates as a ‘number eight’.
He has around 18 months left on his Brann contract, which runs to December 2027. Bodo/Glimt and Brondby have also been linked.
Brann were the former club of Albion striker Aune Heggebo, who signed in a £4.7 million deal last summer. Myhre narrowly missed out on Norway’s World Cup squad, which included former Baggies defender Torbjorn Heggem.
