Nottingham Forest are set to be without Loic Mbe Soh for the next five weeks after picking up a thigh injury in training.
Mbe Soh has been limited to only two appearances this season having picked up a groin problem in the opening day defeat to Coventry City.
The Frenchman missed five games through injury before returning in the home defeat to Middlesbrough last month, but has since been yet to feature.
Speaking in his press conference this morning ahead of the Reds’ trip to Birmingham, Steve Cooper revealed that a thigh injury picked up in training will sideline the Mbe Soh once more.
“Loic is going to be out for a month to five weeks,” Cooper said. “He actually did it before the Millwall game.
“That was a tough one for him really, he did it in training, it was a bit of an innocuous challenge. It’s a thigh injury.
“Apart from that, we’re pretty much as we were.”
Jordi Osei-Tutu, meanwhile, is back at Arsenal as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury which has sidelined him since the third game of the season.
The Gunners loanee has made only two appearances for the Reds, but is expected to be out for a longer period of time than first expected.
“He’s still at Arsenal and still continuing his recovery,” Cooper said. “When things progress, we’ll get an update from Arsenal.
“He’s nowhere near being ready for us. Arsenal have taken care of his recovery, which is sometimes the case with loan players. It seems to be a little bit longer than what anybody would have hoped, especially Jordi.
“It won’t be soon, it certainly won’t be the next couple of weeks.”
Elsewhere, Braian Ojeda and Mohamed Dräger will feature in tonight’s Under-23 fixture against Burnley at the City Ground, as they continue to build match fitness and sharpness.
The pair have began training with their teammates having had to undergo a period of self-isolation after representing their respective countries on international duty.
