WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees this afternoon.
The 18-year-old has spent the last couple of years within the Chelsea academy system after joining the club from London City Lionesses. Shooter has largely represented The Blues at Under-21 level, although she has already made her first senior appearance for the club.
Shooter is highly-regarded at Chelsea and she has just signed a two-year professional contract with the club with the option of an additional year. The next step in her development is to get some playing experience under her belt at Barclays WSL2 level.
On the international stage, Shooter has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-19 level.
After joining Nottingham Forest on loan, Shooter said “I’m really excited to be here. Nottingham Forest is a massive club with great ambition and when I heard about the opportunity to come here, I thought it was the right move for me. I can’t wait to get on the pitch with the girls, meet everyone, and show the fans what I’ve got.
“It’s a period of change for me and the team with the new Head Coach. This move will challenge me as an individual, help me grow as a player and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Shooter is Nottingham Forest’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
