Nottingham Forest travel to Molineux on Wednesday looking to bounce back immediately from a home defeat to Brighton.
Sean Dyche’s side has been rejuvenated in recent weeks. In fact, they have climbed out of the relegation zone. Therefore, a win against bottom club Wolves would move them further clear of danger. It would also build on their impressive away form.
The Tricky Trees will be confident of getting a result. Notably, they won 3-0 in this exact fixture last season. Furthermore, they are aiming to win consecutive away Premier League games for the first time since last winter.
Crucially, Morgan Gibbs-White is expected to be fit to face his former club. Although he suffered a knock against Brighton, manager Sean Dyche expects him to be “okay” for the trip to Molineux. With their playmaker likely available and in goalscoring form, Forest will believe they have the firepower to secure another three points on the road.
Sean Dyche faces a nervous wait regarding key playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White. The England international is managing a back issue that forced him off against Brighton. However, if he passes a late fitness test, he will retain his starting spot in the number 10 role.
In defence, Murillo remains a major doubt. A tight hamstring kept him out of the weekend’s squad. If the Brazilian misses out again, Morato is on standby to partner Nikola Milenković in central defence. Dyche expects further changes in attack.
Specifically, Omari Hutchinson is pushing for a start after impressing off the bench against Brighton. Consequently, he could replace Dan Ndoye. Up front, Igor Jesus is expected to continue leading the line. Meanwhile, Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi both remain sidelined through injury.
Nottingham Forest predicted XI: Sels; Savona, Milenkovic, Morato, Williams; Sangare, Anderson; Hutchinson, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Jesus
The Premier League fixture takes place at Molineux Stadium tonight, Wednesday, 3 December 2025. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm GMT.
