Manchester City faced off against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The visitors made a bright start to the game but found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the 23rd minute when Phil Foden was sent off by the referee. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
Erling Haaland scored the opener for Man City at the hour mark. The contest finished with Maresca’s players earning a narrow 1-0 win in the Manchester derby.

He made a few solid saves at the back and did enough to keep a clean sheet.

Nunes performed his defensive duties well and made two good runs with the ball.

He was solid when defending inside his half and was accurate with his ball distribution.

Guehi cleared his lines when he could and was tidy with his passing.

LB: Josko Gvardiol – 7/10
He was solid at the back and made two good runs with the ball.
Fernandez caught the eye at times on both ends of the field but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
CM: Elliot Anderson – 7/10
He worked hard defensively but struggled to influence the game going forward.
RW: Phil Foden – 5/10
Foden made a slow start to the game and got sent off by the referee in the 23rd minute.
CAM: Rayan Cherki – 6/10
He failed to impress during his time on the field.
LW: Antoine Semenyo – 6.5/10
Semenyo managed to shine at times, but there was no goal for him.
ST: Erling Haaland – 7.5/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and managed to score at the hour mark with a good finish.
Ndiaye kept the ball well inside the Man United half.
