West Ham are set to appoint Nuno Espirito Santo as manager after sacking Graham Potter this morning.
The club have been working behind the scenes over the last few weeks to determine the replacement of Potter, with a decision made between all board members that Potter had to be dismissed.
There had been a few names in the ring, however Nuno was unanimously agreed upon, with the former Nottingham Forest boss set to take the reigns after agreeing a long-term contract in east London.
Nuno has taken training today ahead of being in charge of his first game as boss in our trip to take on David Moyes’ Everton on Monday night.
West Ham will be hoping for an impact from the appointment, with the club currently sitting in 19th place in the Premier League, after a dreadful start to the season under Potter.
More details are to follow on the deal in due course, with West Ham set to formally announce Nuno in the coming hours.
