Trabzonspor beat Fatih Karagümrük 3-1 at Papara Park to stay third in the Süper Lig, powered by Chibuike Nwaiwu's second half double.

Paul Onuachu opened the scoring in the 20th minute, glancing in Ozan Tufan's cross.

Daniele Verde equalised with a left-foot finish (28.).

After the restart, Nwaiwu restored the lead with a close-range header from Tufan's deft nod at a corner (47.). He doubled it three minutes later, meeting Onuachu's headed pass from another set piece (50.).

André Onana made key stops as the hosts controlled the closing stages, denying Verde and Bartuğ Elmaz.

Tufan finished with two assists. Onuachu is now on 18 league goals, top of the Süper Lig scoring chart.

Trabzonspor had 63.2% possession and six shots on target. Fatih Karagümrük registered four efforts on target from 11 attempts.
