Galatasaray have this afternoon announced the return of former French international Bafétimbi Gomis, the forward having previously played for the Turkish side in the 2017-18 season.
The 36-year-old had spent the last three and a half seasons with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, where he scored a total of 116 goals.
The former Saint-Étienne and Lyon man was the league’s top scorer in his previous season in Turkey, finding the net 29 times as the team were crowned champions. Foot Mercato report that the contract length is set at 18 months.
