FC Barcelona are set to kick off their game against Valencia soon. This will be their fourth game of the official La Liga season, and this particular match will be played at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, a rather unconventional venue for the defending La Liga champions.

However, with Lamine Yamal out injured and several other players injured as well, Hansi Flick’s management and tactical awareness will definitely be tested. Fortunately, he has a strong enough squad to field a solid starting eleven that has now been officially confirmed.

In goal, Joan Garcia starts for Barça and he will be looking to keep a clean sheet this time around. Following his performance against Rayo Vallecano, however, Barça should be confident that he will give them extra cover if needed.

Ahead of him, Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia start as the two centre-backs for La Blaugrana. They will need to be at their best to make sure that Valencia does not get too many opportunities.

On the defensive flanks, Jules Kounde and Gerard Martin start for Barça. With Alejandro Balde out injured, the latter will need to step up in his absence and deliver a solid performance.

In the midfield, Marc Casado and Pedri are starting together. Gavi and Frenkie de Jong remain sidelined for now, so Casado will need to be at his best to have an impact.

Ahead of the midfield, Roony Bardghji and Marcus Rashford start as the two wingers for Barcelona. In between them, Fermin Lopez starts as the team’s central attacking midfielder.

Up top, Ferran Torres starts as the team’s centre-forward. The Spaniard will look to continue his fine form and try to find the back of the net again.
