Official I OGC Nice loan Victor Orakpo to Nancy | OneFootball

OGC Nice have officially announced the loan of striker Victor Orakpo (20) to AS Nancy-Lorraine for the remainder of the season. No purchase option has been included in the deal.

Joining in winter 2024 from Bayern Munich’s youth academy, where he had not had the opportunity to make his professional debut, Orakpo played five matches for Le Gym during the 2024/25 season. Loaned to Montpellier last summer, the Lokoja native played 16 matches (including 10 as a starter) for MHSC, scoring all three of his goals in the third and fourth rounds of the Coupe de France.

Nancy, currently 15th in Ligue 2, has signed Orakpo as their fifth new addition of the winter transfer window, the third on loan, as the club fight to avoid relegation. In addition to the Nigerian, Justin Bourgault (20), Pape Sissoko (20), Jérémy Gelin (28) and Geoffrey Lembet (36) have all committed to ASNL in recent weeks.
