Official: Leonardo Balerdi joins Roma from Marseille

Roma have announced their sixth signing of the summer.

“AS Roma is delighted to announce that Leonardo Balerdi has joined the club from Olympique de Marseille.

The deal includes an initial loan with an option to make the move permanent.

The Argentine defender, 27, has played over 200 games in Europe for Borussia Dortmund and Marseille.

Balerdi also has 11 Argentina caps to his name.

He has chosen to wear the No.26 shirt for the Giallorossi.
