The 18-year-old Camarda is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in Italy and he spent the last season at Lecce where he scored one goal in 21 games, but also suffered an injury which kept him out for months.
On June 16, Lecce announced that have taken their option to buy Camarda for €3m, and two days later it was made official that the Diavolo use their buy-back option for €4m.
“Milan can confirm that it has exercised its buy-back clause for Francesco Camarda. The forward will rejoin the Rossoneri from 1 July 2026,” a statement reads.
It remains to be seen whether Camarda will be a part of Rúben Amorim’s squad for next season, or go on a new adventure.
