FC Lorient have announced the loan moves of PSG midfielder Ayman Kari (18) and of Lyon goalkeeper Julian Pollersbeck (28). Kari had been the subject of interest from a number of Ligue 1 clubs for a loan move, having signed his first professional contract with the Ligue 1 leaders this month. He has yet to appear for the senior side, but has trained on a number of occasions with the first team as part of a group of promising talents coming through the ranks. The central midfielder has been a regular fixture in PSG’s Youth League campaigns for the past two seasons. His loan that could extend into next season.
Lorient were also looking for a back-up goalkeeper following the long-term injury of Yann Mvogo. With Vito Mannone primed to stay between the Lorient sticks for the time being, Les Merlus have acquired German Lyon keeper Pollersbeck on a five-month loan. The former Hamburg played no game with Les Gones this season.
