Young Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ismaël Gharbi (19) has completed a deadline day loan move to FC Stade Lausanne in Switzerland for the rest of 2023-2024 season – as announced by the club via an official communiqué. The Paris-born attacking midfielder, who represents Spain at U19 level, made six appearances last season in Christophe Galtier’s side.
This season, he’ll go out on loan for some much needed first team-experience in Switzerland with newly promoted Swiss Super League side FC Lausanne.
Gharbi made his first senior appearances with Les Parisiens in August 2021 when PSG faced Lille in the French Super Cup in Tel Aviv. He has since been part of the squad that won Ligue 1 in 2022, and featured last season in Rouge et Bleu‘s 2023 championship win.
The PSG youth player moved to the club in 2016 from neighbours Paris FC, since rising through the ranks at U17, U19, and then joining the first team.GFFN | George Boxall
