“Paris Saint-Germain approaches the proceedings before the Labor Court in the case against Ms. Kheira Hamraoui with calm, convinced that it has always acted in accordance with the law, its contractual obligations, and the human and sporting values that guide the club’s relationship with all its players. Paris Saint-Germain formally rejects all accusations of failing in its security obligations. From the day after Kheira Hamraoui’s assault and until her last day with the team, the club did everything possible to ensure her protection, deploying a comprehensive set of measures: close security, psychological support, monitoring by occupational health services, and adapting her training to guarantee her safety. When incidents of tension or inappropriate behavior by certain teammates were reported, the club immediately triggered an alert procedure with the Works Council and took the necessary disciplinary measures, including warnings and corrective actions.

Ms. Hamraoui then benefited from a temporary exemption from activity, before resuming training under enhanced protection. This constant support was even publicly acknowledged by the player herself, on several occasions. Regarding the accusations of moral harassment, the club recalls that, during the 2022-2023 season, Kheira Hamraoui took part in almost all official matches, right up to the end of her contract, proof that her sporting career continued under normal conditions within the professional group. Finally, Paris Saint-Germain wishes to remind that it joined as a civil party alongside Ms. Hamraoui in the criminal proceedings, thus demonstrating the club’s solidarity in the face of the exceptionally serious events suffered by the player.”
