Official | Strasbourg sign Deivid Washington from Chelsea

BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg Alsace have signed Deivid Washington (21) from Chelsea FC, both clubs have announced. Signed by the Blues from Santos for €16m in the summer of 2023, the striker has made just three brief appearances for the London club’s first team. Loaned back to his former club in 2025, the Itumbiara-born player failed to make the most of the opportunity, scoring just three goals in 36 appearances across all competitions.

A Brazilian Under-20 international (12 caps, three goals), Washington spent the 2025-26 season playing for Chelsea’s reserve team. Eventually, he has joined Chelsea’s sister club in Ligue 1 for a reported €8m transfer fee. Deivid Washington has put pen to paper over a five-year deal with RC Strasbourg. He could make his Ligue 1 debut on Sunday against Troyes.
