According to L’Équipe and Foot Mercato, OGC Nice are nearing a move to sign Anderlecht goalkeeper Maxime Dupé (30), who would arrive as backup for Marcin Bulka.

Following the departure of Kasper Schmeichel, Nice signed free agent Salvatore Sirigu in September, however, without making an appearance for the Ligue 1 club, he departed earlier in the window, making a move to Turkey. At a press conference, attended by Get French Football News, Le Gym sporting director Florent Ghisolfi said that there was a “moral agreement” in place that the club would allow the Italian shotstopper to leave if he received an offer that offered more playing opportunities.

Ghisolfi said that Nice were open to signing a replacement for Sirigu if the chance presented itself. Talks to sign Dupé, who joined Anderlecht from Toulouse FC  on a free transfer in the summer, are advancing, and according to L’Équipe, the Frenchman now looks set to leave Belgium. He could sign a two-and-a-half-year deal with Les Aiglons.
