OL just off the podium in Championnat des Tribunes

Olympique Lyonnais finished fourth in the official Championnat des Tribunes for the fourth season in a row, behind PSG, Lens and OM.

Le Progres reports that OL were fourth in the sporting table but only 14th in the pitch rankings.

The competition assesses clubs on several criteria, including matchday atmosphere as rated by broadcasters, fan loyalty home and away, digital engagement and supporter-led animations.

On the atmosphere metric, Lyon ranked second nationally, just behind Lens and ahead of Paris.

Groupama Stadium delivered France’s second-highest attendance, averaging 49,848.

The peak was 58,257 against PSG, the season’s record at Décines.

In total, close to 850,000 supporters attended the men’s matches.
