OL partner with Mâcon 71 in four-year deal to 2029

OL have added Mâcon 71, chaired by Alain Griezmann, to their partner-club network.

The Saône-et-Loire side, formerly UF Mâconnais, play in N3 and extend Lyon’s reach beyond the Rhône department. The club said in a statement that the four-year collaboration is based on shared values and mutual trust.

The partnership is intended to professionalise all coaches and trainers at the club and to strengthen its structural foundations.

Lyon staff will support the technical teams with ongoing methodology training and open immersion sessions at OL’s Academy to deepen specific themes.

An audit by Lyon technicians will be carried out soon to set the action plan for the duration of the partnership, which runs until 30 June 2029.
