📸 Olise hits screamer vs. Italy to continue incredible run of form 🔥 | OneFootball

Michael Olise was the assist king at the World Cup but has become France's go-to goal man in the absence of the injured Kylian Mbappé.

And he did it tonight again in stunning style to give Les Bleus a short-lived lead against Italy.

Roberto Mancini's side had done well to keep the French out for the opening 55 minutes but they - and specifically Gianluigi Donnarumma - could not do nothing to stop the Bayern Munich superstar's free-kick.

Rayan Cherki laid it off for him and he did the rest, cracking it in off the bar.

Zinedine Zidane's reaction said it all as he celebrated the first home goal of his tenure.

It continues a simply incredible start to the season for Olise, who is still in with an outside chance of winning the Ballon d'Or.

France's joy lasted just 13 minutes when their centre back charged up, capitalised on slack passing and finished like a prime Italian striker.

Can Olise do it again and secure Zidane a win on his home debut?
